Emmitt Smith appeared on the Oprah Show to discuss his segment on NBC’s “Who Do You Think You Are”? The show follows celebrities as they trace their family history. He really gets emotional talking about the slave quarters in Alabama.

Michael Vick was honored on Tuesday night as one of 32 NFL players to receive the Ed Block Courage Award. The award is presented to players who exemplify commitment to the principles of sportsmanship and courage. Each NFL team selects their own recipient, and most of the winners were on hand for the gala event Tuesday night.
Vick was picked as the Philadelphia Eagles‘ representative by a unanimous vote of his teammates.
“I’m very humbled to be here,” Vick said before the award ceremony. “I’m blessed to be voted by my peers, to be here, and this is an opportunity that I will take advantage of and cherish forever.”
Outside, police cars were at every driveway of the parking lot and security on the inside was very heavy due to the protesters. Here’s my question. WTF do they want from Vick? He served his time, leave him the hell alone.

He has a manly yet sexy stance going on, I can dig it. Honestly, I can’t wait to see him on the dance floor. I always vote for the NFL player and I’ll continue to do for Chad. He’s paired with two-time champion Cheryl Burke, who returns for her ninth season.
“It’s definitely one of our strongest cast lineups ever,” said executive producer Conrad Green. “Pound for pound, it should be really fascinating watching.”
Rehearsals are now underway and the season is set to premiere on ABC March 22 at 10 PM.
